For many people life is or gets tough whether internally or externally, feelings of depression, un-happiness and a whole host of negative emotions can totally overwhelm us at times and life can become a hard, long daily struggle, leading to feelings of being stuck in the dark with no hope of seeing the light again.
Flexible in my approach drawing upon a number of techniques from different psychotherapy theories, depending on the particular needs of my client, first and foremost though, my practice is based on relationship.
Research shows that the relationship between therapist and client is fundamental to the success of psychotherapy, allowing a means to explore relational bonds and experiences in a non-judgmental, safe environment, allowing for feelings to be explored without the dynamics of external relationships censoring us.
Training and experience I am in my fourth and final year of training as an Integrative Psychotherapist at the Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership Ltd. I am registered with UKCP as a trainee member, working towards full UKCP accreditation.
